Lesson 1: Solve Systems by Graphing
Solving systems by graphing is my favorite way to solve systems. I found some notes and I made them into a foldable. I like this one more than my Pre-Algebra but I can't use this one with them. They do not do well changing to y-intercept form and we don't do that on the first day of their systems unit.
Lesson 2: Solve Systems by Substitution
I found these booklets somewhere a few years ago. The file contains booklets on all three ways to solve systems. I only use two of them, substitution and elimination. They are a pain sort of to cut and put together. I guide them step by step and they follow along from the screen. The document contains directions on how to put them together.
Lesson 3: Solve Systems by Elimination
This is the other booklet I do for systems. Some students really enjoy this method and others like substitution.
Lesson 4: Applications of Linear Systems
I found these notes in a different format and I just retyped them to fit into our journals and only be a half sheet to save paper. I like these questions for students to solve. My students do not feel the same as I do ahah!!
